Does a "Subject to Sale" Offer Work in BC?


When the market cools down and listings take a little longer to sell, it is very common for buyers to make “Subject to Sale” or “ Condition to Sale” offers, meaning the offer on the property is subject to the sale of the buyer’s current property.

In today's video, Surrey Real Estate Specialist, Steve Karrasch of Macdonald Realty discusses the “Subject to Sale” offer and what is required in terms of writing the subject into the Contract of Purchase and Sale, including what to consider and be aware of when both offering and accepting a subject to sale clause.
