BC's Real Estate Cooling Off Period Is Illegal

New information regarding the province of BC’s real estate cooling off period has been released and in order for the province to legally roll out this new consumer protection measure the province must amend the current Property Law Act by introducing the Property Law Amendment Act.

In this video, Surrey REALTOR® Steve Karrasch of Macdonald Realty, reviews the most recent information released regarding the cooling off period including the province’s Property Law Amendment Act and provides his opinions on how the cooling off period will affect both the buyer and the seller when it is officially rolled out.
