You might have heard that housing in Canada is unaffordable, however just last week if became even more unaffordable. But maybe not for the reasons that you think.

In this video, Surrey REALTOR® Steve Karrasch of Macdonald Realty, shows how recent increases to five year mortgage rates are now impacting Canada's mortgage stress test. Now that the stress test is increasing due to bond yields, what you can afford or at least what you can qualify for is decreasing.
